Try TRiO
As a federally funded program, our TRiO Student Support Services (TRiO) assists first-generation, low-income, and students with documented disabilities with the support, services, and resources needed to navigate their college experience and graduate from Mississippi State University.
Who's Eligible?
TRiO Student Support Services is open to students who are accepted or currently enrolled at MSU and are citizens and/or permanent residents of the United States. Students must also be first-Generation College students, have limited income (defined by the Federal Government), or must demonstrate an academic need or disability.
Why TRiO?
Students accepted into our TRiO program thrive based on the services we provide, including priority registration, individualized advising and peer mentorship, In addition to academic support, these students are introduced to financial management tools and strategies, graduate school preparation and career-readiness workshops to ensure success post graduation.
